QC Inspector (June 2009 - April 2013)

Pre-inspect parts that come in from outside processing I evaluate the part for any

surface defects and cleanliness before it get loaded into a chamber this type of

inspection that I performed i did it under high intensity lighting. Final Inspection of

parts is done under a magnify in a clean dark room. During the final inspection I

first made sure the part was not broken or had any chipped edges, then I looked for

any coating defects such as modling, pitts, water marks, tooling marks, etc. Perform

test like abrasion and adhesion per mil-prf-13830B and ISO specification, also salt

solubility per mil-c-14806A and similar specification, and dust and fungus per milc-14806A.

Also some customer required environmental testing per mil-c-675C this

was done in a temperature/humidity chamber.Final step was to get final paper work

together graphs, certificate of conformance, quality report and samples for the

customer in an envelope. Paint metal parts, place them in the oven, then inspect

them for tents, scratches, and coating defects. I also Laminate diameters before they

go on OSP.
